Baby on soy formula?

My 22 day old son is on Parent's Choice Soy formula and at first he had regular yellow p**p not runny and not hard it seemed how it is supposed to be in my opinion. But recently it has been runny and yellow sometimes a little green and yellow and then one will be like normal how it was at first then it will go back to runny. What does this mean?

He eats 2 ounces every 2-3 hours during the day and at night every 3-4 hours he eats 3-4 ounces sometimes he throws up because I think he overeats but he acts hungry which is why we feed him what he wants. Sometimes he wont burp either

There is really no reason for him to be on the soy formula unless he has an allergy to lactose, a protein in milk, and from the sounds of it his body isn't liking what you're giving him. Give him regular milk and see if that helps with is p**p. Newborn p**p is normally somewhat runny, yellow, and lumpy, but it's not supposed to be green or solid,... not at this age. It sounds like he eats just fine, but I would definitely make sure he burps. Burping newborns is a real endurance task and sometimes you need to get a little rough with it. Press their tummy, sit them up, pat them firmly on the back, lay them over your shoulder and pat them,... whatever it takes, but you need to burp him. If you don't that could really hurt his tummy and intestines when the big bubbles of gas move through it. I know they did for my son,... so I made sure to burp him every time.

OK.. FOR STARTERS..I'M NOT ALL THAT FAMILIAR WITH PARENTS CHOICE SOY MILK.. BUT I AM A FIRM BELIEVER THAT SOY MILK IS NOT ONLY HEALTHIER FOR BABIES, BUT THAT IT'S GREAT FOR COLIC EPISODES ALSO.  A BABY'S p**p WILL DIFFER IN CONSISTANCY AND AS LONG AS HE DOESN'T p**p LIKE THIS FOR MORE THAN 2 DAYS, I DONT THINK U HAVE ANYTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.. ON THE OTHER HAND, IF U WANNA BE ON THE SAFE SIDE TAKE HIM TO HIS PEDIATRICIAN TO RULE OUT ANY DEHYDRATION OR STOMACH ILLNESS. AS FOR THE NOT BURPING PART OF UR QUESTION.. MAKE SURE THAT U BURP HIM AFTER EVERY OUNCE OR TWO.. AND BE PATIENT SOMETIMES A BABY WILL f**t SILENTLY SO KEEP ONE HAND ON HIS BOTTOM TO ENSURE THAT HE IS RELEASING GAS WHETHER ITS FROM HIS BOOTY OR HIS MOUTH.  BURP HIM WITH FIRM YET GENTLE STROKES ON HIS BACK IN AN UPWARDS MOTION TO HELP THE GAS TRAVEL UPWARDS. Has he been checked for Acid reflux? My son was also on the Parent's Choice soy. You need to not give more until he burps. That's why most babies spit up. Don't be afraid to try burping a little harder. A baby's back won't break, I promise. I had to burp my son for 10-15 minutes sometimes and then he would belch like a logger.
