Do you think that is girly? We want to aim for stuff that is non-gender related so that we can use it for years to come.

  1. I think it is all right. If I had kids I would put them in it regardless of their gender.

A baby is too young to understand anyway so I don't think it really matters. As long as you like it, that is the main thing

  2. They're both fine, but the price is so high compared to the quality of the items!  Can you sew or do you know someone who does?  Crib bumpers, blankets and those things are so easy to make.  All I buy is the fitted sheet.  You'll get much better quality for a lower price.

Even if you have to pay someone to make it.  Same price, but better quality.

I don't mean to go all Martha Stewart on you, I just grew up in a do-it-yourself family.  Either of those bed sets is very good-looking.

  3. Somewhat girly but not overly so.  I wouldn't use it for a boy if that is what you are asking.

  4. No I think it is really cute! Not girly.

  5. I like the black & white stuff a lot, but I don't think I'd use it for a baby. It isn't really girly, but it just isn't really baby-y. I prefer the green pattern.

Also, you probably will want to freshen up your nursery for subequent kids. I just had my 2nd child and my sheets & stuff look a little dingy.  Your best bet is to choose something inexpensive and/or something that can be updated with fresh sheets in a few years.

I had a whole set and realized that since you don't use the quilt when they're small and the bumpers aren't recommended, you aren't left with much of the set that is useful.

  6. not at all... its cute and i wish i had the same one lol.... i have winnie the pooh :)

  7. I think that the flower part of the bedding is a little girly, but the pok a dot part isn't.  It is really cute though.

I say this because I know that my husband would NEVER allow this for our son. . .but then again he was all about the blue walls and the sports theme.
