Baby roaches??? I just moved into my apartment exactly 3 weeks ago...?

...and around 2:30 am I woke up and went into the kitchen to get something to drink and see this baby roach running across my floor. It ran under the fridge so I had to move the fridge out of the way to get to the bug. Well, I got it but, when I moved the fridge I saw two more dead baby roaches on the floor. I clean my house everyday so I don't see how I could have roaches.

Where are they coming from? Can I get rid of them or being that I live in an apartment complex, am I pretty much screwed?

Also, can I break my lease for this? I have two small children (ages 1 and 3) and DO NOT want them living in unsanitary conditions like this!

well miss bugs are every where you can't rid of them you can always spray around your apartment or call Orkin but as far as breaking the lease over three baby roaches won't fly unless you have al ot of them over the couse of the months to come.

They can come from surrounding apartments or they can run from apartment to apartment if they just spray one at a time. It probably needs to be spray-bombed...where you leave the apartment while it is gassed (and take food items out).

I don't think you can break the lease until you report the problem to the manager and if they don't resolve the problem. You could complain and ask them about possibly breaking the lease because of this...or demand that they spray the place.
