  1. I had a small one and then I had a big one, OMG was the big one fun I invite everyone I had about 40-45 people, I got tons of stuff, but got to share my happiness with everyone, we played games, it was the best me and husband going to start trying at the end of the year, so Yes I will have a big baby shower ,

  2. My sisters threw mine for me. We had about 50 people show. It was somewhat large, but I still had time to get around to everyone and what not.

They had finger foods and cake, and a few games put together..

My mom had put a book together, "motherly advice" she passed it around and everyone put a personalized note inside with some type of advice.

We had everyone cut a piece of ribbon as big as they thought I was around, closest got a prize.

We had jars of baby food with the labels covered and everyone had to guess what kind it was.

One of my sisters made mini diapers with napkins and "baby p**p" inside, you had to guess what was in baby's p**p (I don't know where they got that one)

There was a big plastic bottle with mnms in it, had to guess how many. (good for little ones)

Everyone who brought a bag of diapers aside from their gift got a raffle ticket for a raffle later.

And upon arriving everyone got one clothes pin. If you say baby, the first person to catch you gets your pin, the person with the most at the end gets a prize.

  3. well make it mandatory RSVP

because obviously there will be games and no one should have to sit out bc somonewas to lazy to RSVP , and just tell then to call your mom in advance if there coming

    Have fun

this day is all about the baby but your the one getting showered with attentjion

  4. Games are definately ice breakers and everyone loves playing them. You can get some great ideas over the internet. I had a med sized one and everyone had a blast.

  5. ive never had one cuz im wayyy too young for babies lol.at least i think i am but ive been to alot and most baby showers have had clever games that incorporate baby stuff..like diapers

  6. Thats a perfect size.My 1st shower had about 40 people and my 2nd about 25.Its really about who you want to share your special day with. My colors were blue and brown for my boy It's a little more modern,My cake Had brown polka dots on Blue background and a large blue Paci on the top.We played lots of Games, one of the best ones was I had two Brand new bottles and filled them with tea and had 2 volunteers play a race on who could drink it the fastest. We also played the same but with Baby food who can eat it the fastest, but of course do something sweet like banana.Hope that helps I have alot more Ideas but it would take forever.I love parties=)

  7. unfortunately, I live two states away from all my friends and family and my husband's deployed, so I'm doing this on my own and won't be having a baby shower.  But 19 people is a nice small size for a shower--invite all the people you love and know will appreciate coming!  I didn't realize you were supposed to give your own baby showers, actually.  Isn't your best friend or church group or coworkers supposed to plan the baby shower for the mom-to-be just like a bridal shower?
