  1. Girls that age should be pretty easy.  If they are "prissy" then offer to style their hair or put on a modeling show.  Drawing or board games are also good ideas.  If they are more athletic offer to practise with them or time them racing. Hide and seek is also still fun at this age.  If you would rather have a quiet day bring some movies like A Cinderella Story or Mean Girls. You can make popcorn or bake cookies and hang out.

Children that are clingy just need consistent attention and firm boundaries. You said he was a brat but did not offer details.  He might just have anxiety over his parents being gone.  Try distractions to catch his attention like puzzles, books, coloring or board games like Candyland. Ask his parents for advice on his likes and dislikes before Friday. He may like certain movies or cartoons also. Try not to write off his behavior, after all he is only four. Good luck, after all it is always harder watching other people's children than it will be watching your own.

  2. Well, for the girls, it is so fun to do whatever they want to do. I make sure to ask the kids first of all what they want. The oldest kid I babysat for is 11 and I while I am in charge of him, I am not really watching him, I am watching his little brother and sister, and next to that the oldest kid is 6, but we usually play games, they LOVE board games and play-dough, they LOVE to play outside, sometimes we do freeze tag and hide and seek. Follow the Leader and Simon Says...I also usually do a Bible story and then we color and have snack. Playing outside is ALWAYS popular, going to the park, ect, ect...then you can always resort to TV, although I don't like doing it, every 2nd Sat. of the month I watch 4 kids all day, about 9ish to 3-4ish and we play from about 9-11 and then I make lunch and they play, then I feed the baby, and they eat, about 12 we will go outside and play or if we can't then we play. Around 1 we go back and then the baby goes back down for a nap, then the older 3, a 3 year old, 4 year old and 5 year old, settle down and we have "rest time" for about 45 minutes to an hour(this is when we watch TV) around 2:45 we play some more and the baby gets up and we play games and stuff and their parents come home. It works well for me and I LOVE doing it. I hope this helps, again my odest child is younger than your youngest girl. 4 year old boys, they are very easy. But, I don't have any that are clingy, except to me, so...hope it helps, good luck!

  3. watch a movie and play with dolls with the girls.  bake some cookies with them and have some girl talk.  let the boy color and play with his favorite toys.

  4. For your boy keep him occupied by reading and then get him to something with his hands. Boy's learn by doing things. Play ball or catch or keeping there hands busy.

Girls like to read or watch movies, color pictures, dress up.etc. Have fun!!
