I know this family, parents are in their 60's and kids in their 30's. Their kids still live at home.

They are trying to adopted/keep custody of a baby. (long story how they came about it but basically the mother left the baby there)

Their Son, age 35ish molested his sister when he was 14-18ish. I know for a fact, told by the sister.

Knowing this, should I keep my thoughts about this to myself?

I'm so scared for the baby!! this could and probably happen to her.

This is bothering me bad as a furture mother.

Thanks

  1. you are not so disturbed that you refuse to report it to dcfs.

  2. definitely tell someone.  will the molested sister be willing to share her story to protect this baby?

  3. I would say something. The sister told you for a reason. If she isnt strong enough for he voice to be heard. Then tell it for her. Dont be the Neighbor next door on the news sayin i shoulda said something earlier.

  4. wow.

dont keep this to yourself. you need to tell them something right away. this baby is so innocent. if he does 1 time he will do it again. this is illegal. and what if something happes to his baby because this man did something to it. knowing you could have prevented it all. do something. its the right thing to do.

  5. REPORT THIS IMMEDIATELY FOR THE CHILD'S SAKE.

  6. NO you should tell them what you know, If he was charged with the crime then he is a registered s*x offender, therefore the child can not be adopted into the family by law, But Please tell them what you know for the sake of the innocent baby.

  7. maybe, maybe not.  It could have happened a long time ago, and it may not happen again.  Ask a child protective agency about the concern, and they can decide if it is too dangerous for the baby.  But think of it this way, a baby doesn't have too much s*x appeal, while a 14 to 18 year can.  But then again, it is something that the child protective agency should look into.  In fact, the sister should stand up and say no to not having the child.  And she has the threatening power to do so, if they want to have the child, she can call the agency herself, and they can't refuse.  Plus, if the parents knew, they'd be just as guilty as the son.
