Im not sure but I think that my baby has gone head down.I am 29 weeks tomorrow. My next ultrasound isnt till next week so then Ill know for sure. Usually when do babies go down head first. I notice that his kicks are now high and you can see my stomach move when he kicks me. That and my stomach is much bigger now ( seems like i blew up over night) Does it sound like the baby has gone head down or is he still on his side?

  1. You will notice one big motion and then lots of pressure on your bladder. Also you will feel some relief in your tummy since the baby is in a different place. You will also be much much more uncomfortable. This is prob not what you want to hear but it just means that you will soon have your little baby! Good luck!

  2. I am actually trying to figure this out too.  Our due dates are really close (mine is Nov 18).  I think at this point, our babies can still flip around from time to time but if you are feeling alot of kicking near your ribs, then I think it would be safe to assume your baby is head down.

I have always felt alot of movement in the top part of my stomach and ribs, as WELL as down below... so it's hard for me to tell what is her feet/knees and what is her elbows/hands.  Have you noticed more pressure on your bladder?  I think once they are head down, you tend to have to pee more... which is what I have been experiencing lately too.

Dont worry even if he isnt head down though, because some babies dont flip until right before delivery.

    Congrats and Good Luck~
