I know perfectly well that my Evolve has only two threads going in, the chain needle and the chain looper. OK. When I am chainstitiching the sides of my long curtains, the fabric occasionally bunches and then suddenly, I have a perfect chain stitch on back, normal on top, but there is a weird extra loop of thread on the back along the chainstitch big enough for me to place my hand under. It doesn't appear to weaken the chainstitch much, but what is causing this ? Driving me crazy! And no, I don't happen to have a third cone of thread lurking on the serger to plot my destruction, there are only two.
