  1. I was told no early then six months but i have seen some babies younger then that with there ears pierced. I think it all depends on where you go. Some peds even do it for you. I think its good to do them early though they wont mess with them!

  2. wait till the child is old enough to ask and old enough to understand how to care for the piercing.

piercing a babys ears is unnecessary, it poses a choking hazard of they pull at the earring, more risk of infection if they are pulling at it.

its just pain baby doesnt need to be in.

  3. Did the baby say "Hey mom, can I get my ears pierced?" NO.  It's more for show for you than her.  Wait till she gets older and then see what she wants.  You can go and get your ears pierced again if you want to.  I waited till my 6 year old asked.  Until then, I did not push the issue.

  4. 12-16 years old would be best.

  5. i use to pierce ears at my job. the babies should have their first set of shots, so usually 2 months.

  6. Earrings on babies are tacky.  Wait until she's 12.  Little girls are cute enough without jewelry.

  7. DONT  go get your babys ear peirced when they are little. wait till they are 9 or 10. because as they get older their ear lobe grows out and the the peircing will not be centered, it will be more on the side closer to their head and look kinda wierd. then they have to get their ears repeirced. ive seen it happen alot.

  8. i just got my daughters done and she is 3 onths they say as long as your baby has there shots your good to go. honestly tthe younger they are the better off u are. my freind had her daughter done at 12 months and she screamed for an hour after. my daughter 3 months had them and was fine after 5 mins. its up to u tho...
