Babysiting!?

ok i am babysitting my cousin today and she is like 8 years old and i dont know what to do with her game wise

Well, most 8 year old girls will like to play house, dress up, color, watch a movie, play outside (maybe on a trampoline or in a sprinkler or pool?)

Just ask her what she likes to do =]

Makeovers! Paint her nails, put on makeup, and you can always wash it off. ALso, to make her feel special, let her do a little on you, too!

Also, I've made treasure maps before, and everybody looooves it. Its when you draw a little treasure map resembling spots in the yard or house, and each one has a clue to the next spot, until you find the prize at the end. Its so easy and quick for you to ake, really.

Also, dress up. I know you can't wear her clothes, but you can still pretend with her.

Hmmm... and making a 'band' if she has any play musical instruments. Or make them yourself.

Oh yeah! And kids love to see themselves on TV, so if you have a camera that hooks up to the TV, film a movie and let her watch it! And when your aunt and uncle get home, show them and they'll realy know that their daughter had fun.

with younger girls doing hair (or letting her do yours!) is always fun. so is drawing (go outside and look at the clouds then see who can do the most creative drawing). running around, playing with a frisbee (or soccer ball, or basketball). it really just depends on the girl :-). good luck!

She can do ur hair. Maybe some harder crafts. Go for a walk in the woods. Take her to a pond. Let her watch some tv.  Maybe you can cook. Ask parent. You can play broad games like life, and risk. Maybe you can have a water fight.

You can play tag, red light green light, dolls, house, watch her favorite movie, set up a computer game, or just watch a movie. There are a lot of things to do! Hope this helped.

do lots of crafts kids really like structered play which is odd cause you think they wouldnt but they really do like it. Structered play keeps them less bored

8 year olds are easy to please.  Think up a fun craft for you and her to do.  Also, you could even bring some kind of Disney board game (if she likes Disney- most kids do) to keep her busy.  Make sure the game is pretty easy though, because you don't want her confused.  You could also play hide-and-seek.  I know teenagers that still play that and think its fun.  Hope everything works out, I bet it will. :)

I always liked to open my own shop or library. Set up a card catalog or whatever she is into. When babysitting, I never liked to set kids in front of the t.v. That's boring. I used to babysit alot and whenever all else failed, it never hurt to just go outside and take turns picking gammes to play, like freeze tag, hopscotch, dodgeball,etc. Hope that helped:)

turn on the sprinkler or put out the slip n slide and have fun.  remember the sunscreen.

If going outside is not an option, dolls, barbies, coloring, movies are all good.  My neices and i like to play store, we'd make fake money and buy random things from the house. or play restaurant that way.

my suggestion 2 you is 2 get whatever games you have out and let your cousin choose 1st then maybe you can do something else when you guys get bored like watch a movie or something.
