Babysitting? (10 points for best answer)?

I was 14 in february 2008

& I want to start babysitting, but I know that most parents already have babysitters that they know (friends daughters/sons etc.)

But I don't know many young children.

I have put a little poster in the window of our local newsagents, hoping I might get a few phone calls.

But how else can I get people to book me?

& how much is the average going rate for a babysitter in the UK.

You can:

* put up an ad on Yellow pages

* post hand-made posters through people's doors

* hand your posters out in town to people

* ask your mum/dad to hang the poster in their workplace

* tell your friends to tell their parents

The only way someone is going to employ you to baby sit is through recommendation.

Please will not trust their children to someone they dont know or based soley on a newagent sign. Tell you mum and day you want to baby sit and maybe they will tell their friends. tell your ants and uncles if they have any kids or maybe they will recommend you
