Babysitting Blues.?

Question

I am babysitting right now and I don't know what to do to get the 1 and a half year old, and three year old away from the TV screen. Any games, or FUN entertaining ideas??

Why are you on the computer?  You should be watching the kids.  Use the off button and take charge.  Get on the floor and roll around with those kids, they like interaction.

Play copycat-it's kinda like simon says, but little kids don't usually understand the rules of that game.  Just take turns copying whoever is it.  My kids are 3 and 2, and they love playing that game.  Plus, you don't have to clean up after it!

you shoold get some toys and hide them around the house and act like ur on a treasure hunt and get them interested and act like a pirate....make a list of things you hid but very easy ones to describe so they remember wat it is like ex. a red bear! and help thm find them oe by one like say we need to fins the red bear and tell them if we find all of the treasure we get prizes...and award them with a piece of candy or cookies

ive done this many of times...its very fun and it works
