Babysitting Tips/Ideas-How to keep kids entertained?

Anyone know how to keep a first grader entertained for 11 hrs. Sites or good ideas would be very much so appreciated

i know it seems lame at their age, but get into w/e they are into.  I promise after a while it will go by quickly, but don't forget that you need to be in charge too.  watch the little tween movies they are into, color, snacks, run around outside, go swimming, sing, dance, play dress up or pretend whatever. :)  have fun!

Outside stuff - bike riding, running around, hula hoops, etc.

Inside stuff - arts and crafts, dress up/barbies or car tracks/knocking blocks down by crashing cars into it, play dough, dancing, silly photos time (if you have a digital camera), etc, baking - you can measure stuff out and they can pour it in the bowl

Stuff away from the house - the library (get books to read at home or read them there), walk through michael's, or some other fun store (maybe spend a couple of bucks),  the park/playground, the mall (a lot of have play areas)

Crafts would be cool. Whenever I babysit I always give them lots of crafts and art activities.

I babysit a first grader as well, and they love it when you do things with them. Get as involved as possible. Go outside and run and play tag with them, do sidewalk chalk, or have a water fight. Teach him/her how to use a hula hoop. Bring a "Babysitting kit" with board games, books, and toys that you liked when you were younger. Color with her, and make fun snacks. Let him help you bake a batch of cookies. Finger paint. Do play doe. The most important thing is to make sure he/she has fun, but still knows your in charge. Then, once your both tired(and you will be, by the end of the day, lol), sit down and watch a movie with some popcorn or something.

i usually just ask him/her wat they want to do. if they say something like " i dunno " start asking questions about wat 2 do.
