Babysitting a seven y/o tonight what do i do??

i mean like

entertainment and stuff

i do have experiance with children both my sisters were seven once but i need a refresher course.

Play board games - Battleship, Trouble, Sorry, Connect 4 are all great for this age

Also card games - Go Fish, Crazy Eights, Old Maid, War etc.

Make up superheros together, draw the character, list superpowers, make an arch villian, maybe even do a short comic book.  (Big hit with my boy!)

Make a treat (with parental approval of course) you could make cookies, do sundaes or cupcakes.  Who doesn't like that?

Bring some of your old coloring books, games, and favorite books.  They will enjoy playing with toys that arent theres!

Play with dolls, dress ups, watch movies, board games, drawing, play hide and seek, play-dough, STORY TIME! Build a cubby house and if he or she gets too hyper, dead elephants should do the trick. The important thing is to be imaginative, and to interact with the child. Don't just read a book and let them do their own thing, they like it when you play with them. Good luck!

Seven year olds love eating outside, play with some balls, coloring and finger painting is really exciting. If a girl play with dolls do dress up. If a boy, catch, fun imagination games.

Generel: Read books. go to the park, make puppets for them set up a play area for the puppet show let them put on the show. watching a bit of t.v is fun. If you run out of Ideas then ask them what they want to do. Watch movie, play-do, hide and go seek, tag outside. Have fun with it.

Always ask the child what they want to do, if they say "I don't know" suggest having a staring contest until you can think of something to do. LOL
