Babysitting advertisement?

I just got home from my babysitting class. It was 12 hours long, 6 hours for 2 days. We had to take a test at the end of the whole class and if we passed we got a certificate, I got a 100%

Anyways, I'm thinking of ways to advertise. I have TONS of younger girls who live on my street, but when our family moved in 5 years ago we got into arguments and we haven't talked since.

I now this one house about 4 doors down from me. It's a family that has 2 kids I believe, I met them once. We don't have much contact, but I mean they know I exist.

There are alot of younger kids around my neighborhood, I see them when I go for walks with my friends and all. But we don't know each other, never spoke to one another. Should I make fliers offering to babysit for them anyways? I'm not putting anything in the newspaper or at a local store. I'm only babysitting friends, relatives, or neighbors. But I don't know how to approach people. What should my fliers say? Should I put them in mailboxes?

I agree. Just don't put them IN their mailbox.  Put it on the little flag.  You're not supposed to open people's mailboxes and put soliciations in it.

When I babysat, I handmade little business cards advertising my babysitting services. They should have your name, #, years of experience on it. ALso mention that you also took a 12 hour class and got a 100%. Id walk around the neighborhood and put them in everyone's mailboxes. Good luck!

just so you know the only person who can put something in a mail box is  a U.S postal carrier.  Most of the time they give out tickets but if a cop is driving down the road I think you can get a ticket.

I would make a flyer and put it on telphone poles or supermarket bulton boards

Put the ad's in peoples mailboxes, then put your age, experience, and times you can babysit in your ad.
