  2. Well kids at that age will lose interest fast but still need a routine so I would vary things you do but keep meal times and such strict so they have an idea about what the day will consist of.

I would let the kids eat a little longer for lunch though I think 15 minutes is kinda fast.

Anyway do you have any parks nearby (walking distance?) they would like that. Kids also love crafts I would just look on some websites that have easy to do projects for the kids. Even them making a card for their mom or dad, ect. would be fun for them. Doing as many things outside as possible with them will be good for them. You can play catch, soccer, blow bubbles, do chalk on the sidewalk, hula hoop, jump rope, ect. At the 3:30-5:00 time slot you should put in a little snack time at like 3:30-4:00 if the parents are okay with that.

You could even occasionally have a lemonade stand with them that would teach them social skills and they can make a little money. (if you live close to a grocery store) you can walk them down there with their money and let them buy a special treat (if the parents are okay with it) Kids that age can play easy board games like Candy Land and Hi Ho cherry-o and memory.

You can just play with them with their toys as well! When I was little I played with "littlest pet shops" and loved when my babysitters played with them with me.  If the parents let them they could watch a movie on fridays that could be like a movie night but during the day.

I am not sure about the little boy going #2 on the potty. I would just ask the parents what they are doing and stick with that. Or maybe you could (if the parents let you) do a thing where if he goes poopy on the potty he can have an M&M.

  3. If I were you, I would try to vary the activities as much as possible. Its good that you want some sort of schedule. Have a craft activity every day, if you can. Ask the parents to get some materials and then think of things you can do the night before! There are a ton of ideas on all different websites such as Familyfun.com As far as the reading goes, you may want to read shorter stories and do maybe 2 or 3. Then if they are still interested, you can always ask if they want to do into chapter books,etc... Can you take them outside to play in the yard? If you can, why not come up with several games like freeze tag, jump rope, hulla hoops, etc... Blow bubbles, make a scavenger hunt for them, give them ziploc bags and collect nature materials. Then you can have them glue them onto paper and make collages. You can have them also do school type activities if their parents have workbooks or flashcards. What about board games or card games? Good luck! It sounds like you are very responsible and I applaud you for wanting help!

  4. 1) ( My opinion ) Dont make such a precise schedule! Let them be kids. There 3, and 6 years old. I highly doubt that they will hold still while your reading or watch tv for exactly 15 minutes. Give them some kid time, Loosen up your schedule:

Let them have lunch, and if they finish early let them watch TV until everybody is done. Then have them play in the living room or watch TV while you do the dishes. Then maybe take them for a walk, color pictures, or play dress up ( that should take about a total of 2 hours ). Then you could go around and clean the house a little, but dont snoop! Let them look at picture books or have the older ones read.

then just give them some free time until their mom/dad get home.

again, you will bore them to death with such a tight minute by minute schedule without any fun/kid time. I suggest forgeting the cleaning the room thing or reading for such a long period of time ( for such young children ).

How much are you gonna charge? I reccomend charging 5$ for the first kid then add 2$ for each additional... i reccomend 9$ an hour, so 45$.
