  1. Play some games of chance (no skills involved) so she has a chance to win against you.  Trouble is always fun.  Fish is a good card game (might be to easy for her though); War; Uno; Monopoly can kill off a lot of time; ever play jacks?  Hangman:    on paper or online

Wordsearch:   on paper or online    http://www.armoredpenguin.com/wordsearch...

You can  make your own, enter the words you want ---use her spelling lists from school!

Remember to give her a chance to win and she'll enjoy it more.

Some online games she can play by herself to give you a break----

    Pumpkin carving:

  2. Does she like to play outside?  Because I know that always keeps my sibs occupied.  Watching movies and TV is good too.  Um...board games?  Twister?  I'm honestly not very sure.  I'm actually having the same issue...Sorry I couldn't be more of a help!

  3. well, buy the board game sorry!, buy hungry hungry hippos, buy monoply for kids buy the thins u liked when u were a child

  4. Games, puppets and puzzles are ideal for connecting with children, creating lasting memories, and teaching them important developmental and life skills.

These are great products for all ages at:

    www.playgames.simplyfun.com

best of all you can watch videos to see what you might like.

  5. there are tons of board games, but I don't know if you have access to them.  Why don't you bring over a deck of cards and play some simple games like go fish or war.  Kids that age love uno, also.  Or you could rent her a movie from Blockbuster (G rated ofcoarse!) and pop some popcorn.  I'm sure she'd also love her big sis to do her nails!  It sounds like you really want to spend some quality time with her and that is the key thing.  she will appreciate that and will have a great time!  Good luck!

  6. you're lucky to have a sister like that.

    just ask her

"???? what do you want to do?"

  7. its not hard, just let her choose some of her games

or pick some games from her room and suggest playing them.

or play hide and seek, kids love that! :D

p.s pick me as the best answer ;)

    because i'm the ony one

  8. I used to have to baby-sit my younger sister all the time & we'd make up shows. We'd sing, dance, do radio shows, commercials, etc. Sometimes we'd even make up music videos to songs we liked & video tape them. You could play "American Idol" or "So You Think You Can Dance" etc.

Also doing make-overs is always fun. Take before & after pictures with a digital camera. Good times.

  9. Not sure about any games but maybe you could do her nails and hair (with your parents permission!)

  10. If board games are what you want to do than I'd suggest that perhaps you babysit a GROUP of 8 year olds...Have your sister invite a couple of little friends over for a sleep over and let them fend for themselves fun wise.  It's not up to you as the older sister to amuse an 8 year old...If she were 4-6 than yes you'd be required to try and fill some time with fun things...but at 8 she really should know what is fun for her...perhaps ASKING her what's fun may/might allow you to SHARE with her.  PEACE & GOOD LUCK!
