Babysitting for the first time tomorrow night!?

the kids are 9,5,4. i am 13 and i have taken babysitting classes i have just never been able to get jobs... i have gone with friends a few times to help. im not nervous about the playing with the kids thing, just the part after they go to bed. the parents are going to a party down the street. im really nervous cause i get scared easily and ill be there from 730-1130 or 12. and the kids go to bed 930ish i think. so 2 hours alone and im real nervous. is it scary? what should i do/bring? please help im nervous!

As long as you have all emergency numbers and medical info

about the kids all should go well.  The kids will point you to their favorite toys and activities.  You might want to bring a board game they do not have or some books they do not have.  Make sure that you are alert when you are waiting for the parents to get in.

Make sure you give a report of how things went to parents.

if you are that scared u should not be doing it... but you can't back out of this first one so... just deal w/ it...

bring something to occupy yourself in the time between the time the kids go to bed and the time the parents get home. Everything will be fine keep telling yourself that their parents are right down the street. It will be okay.

It can be scary because you our outside of your normal comfort zone, so try to bring things that comfort you or relax you! It could be a movie that you enjoy and the kids might enjoy, or even a certain food that you like to snack on! Your choices vary but as long as it makes you comfortable, don't pack up your whole room..lol just subtle things in a little tote bag or overnight bag!

You'll be just fine, and the time will go by faster then you think if you don't focus on it!

I am 13 and I used to sometimes get scared and what I would do is turn on alot of lights and maybe the tv and maybe call a friend if I wanted someone to talk too.
