Babysitting friday night! need some tips.!?

ok so my moms friend babysits these 2 kids. the lil boy is 2 and his sister is like 4 months old. i have babysat them but it was always with my moms friend who is an adult there . the 2 yr old is pretty naughty and he likes to play alot. and the 4 month old she likes to be held alot. im 15 and i know its stupid but i am a bit scared to stay home alone at night.... i have before but i am like scared someone is in the house. anyways. can you give me tips so i wont be scared and things to take or do to keep the boy busy? thanks very much!

i went through the same thing! im always afraid of someone in the house, so try putting ut ipod, or the tv on while ur in the other room, it keeps ur mind on the music and the kids, just make sure the music/show is appropriate, just in case the kids go in  that room!

I'm sure that looking after the kids will keep you occupied so you won't think about being scared!

Maybe you could get him to play with his toys and you could join in, or let him watch TV?

id make sure my doors were locked and to try to have him play in the same room ur in and if he gets mad let hom cooloff by hiself but pay attention equally to them and u should be ok

well, last friday night i babysat until 3am. but, i babysat for 5 and 6 year old girls, so my situation was very different from yours! mostly, though, we watched movies, and the kids really seemed to enjoy that! anything you can do to get the little boy worn out and ready for bed really helps! sorry i wasnt much help...but have fun, and makes lots of $!
