Babysitting games/activities??

I have to babysit two kids. 1 boy-7 and a girl-9

you might want to bring board games, play outside if the parents let you, card games, think back when you were that age what did you mostly enjoy

i would bring a 'babysitting bag' it's basicly just a bag filled with toys, movies, books, markers, crayons, dolls, etc. it may be old boring stuff to you, but to a kid it's brand new and fun. if you can go outside, that's always fun. make sure not to just sit them in front of the tv. kids exagerate, and will tell their parents stuff. so if you raise your voice, the kids may say 'she screamed at us!' so be careful cuz then the parents wouldn't want to hire you again, and you'd lose any business you may have gotten from them telling friends. if anything, the parents might tell friends NOT to hire you, so that would be really bad! so be careful with stuff like that. um...make sure to be involved with the kids. don't get them some toys to play with, then go watch tv or read a book, or really don't talk on the phone. play WITH them. they'll like you a lot more. and if kids tell their parents they like you, you're probably the babysitter they'll hire again. just have fun with it! relax and be safe. everything will go fine!
