Well, soon I'm babysitting this girl.. she's 7. I'm 14. And she's WILD. I mean she is into EVERYTHING. Her mom is even paying me extra. She's really sweet, just wild. How can I keep her calm and entertained? D;

Thanks a bunch!

  1. the best thing you can do is find the things she wants to do and just play with her i suggest starting with some activities outside or something that requires a lot of movement this will calm her down and make her tired and then you can do something more relaxing but she'll behave better for you if you let her do what she wants but not let her get out of hand and if she starts to act wild again it means it's time to change the activity so that you can keep her intrest

  2. Don't let her ever be in charge. You need to be sure that it's clear that you're the one in authority so she doesn't spend the whole time running around the house and screaming! If you let her get away with it once, she'll know she can get away with it again! Find things that are fun for her ... Games, coloring, crafts, movies........ Good luck! 8)

  3. OMG I CAN TOTALLY HELP!!!!!!

    I just babysat four kids at once and I'm the same age as u

    Just play games like hhide and seek ot watch TV, distract with telling stories or drawling....  ask her questiona avbout herself and ask her to sing a song.... look through photos.... anything.

    But remember. You are in charge. Don't let her take control just because she decides to be angry at you or give you the lip.

  4. Well my experience with a little sister this age is do what she likes. If you don't want her going wild just make sure she is happy..Be careful they are sneaky!

  5. Duck tape. Lol.

    hehehe

    It will be hard, you have to be creative.

    Good Luck.

  6. I babysit a 8 year old boy. last time i babysat him he didnt like me putting him on timeout. he ran down to the basment and got a scew driver and tried to stab my arm. he then ran off and i eneded up having to call the police to search for him...and the dad paid me under because i was "unable to control him" he thought i was iresponsible. just have like playdough and that moon sand stuff...i got some FLOAM it is like styrofome beads that stick together and to alot of other things...it really kept him and his 3 sibilings occupied and out of trouble. good luck and if things get out of hand threaten to call the police...(works every time with Payle now) [payle is the 8 year old kid]

    also try playing games like hide and seek, watch TV (educational shows), distract with telling stories or drawling.... ask her questiona about herself and ask her to sing a song.... look through photos.... anything. and complement her on her hair or clothes...all young girls love that!
