Babysitting job need advice?

I am going into the 8th grade on monday. My us history teacher just had a baby last spring. I would like to babysit her child (ren). How do I tell her that I am available to babysit? Do I just hand her a business card after class? I am red cross babysitting, cpr, and first aid certified. Is it too much to say I need transportation from,and possibly too her house? Thanks in advance.

Just mention to her that you would be available to babysit anytime she may need help. If she ask you than you can address the issue with needed transportation.

i would ask her if she is able to talk and when she is just explain that since she knows you from the following year and u know that she might want to go out sometime that you have babysitting job and are all certified and you would love to watch her child
