  1. make a collage with old magazines. cut out stuff and let them glue it.

    have a treasure hunt.

makeshift bowling game. we used empty soda bottles and a ball to create a bowling game.

bake something. kids love the kitchen.

    hide and seek.

  2. What if you make popcorn and watch a movie? IT will help them sit through the movie. OR get paper and cranyons color, come up with who ever draws the best, most creative picture gets a treat. Have a theme,  color your most favorite thing you did this summer. Or get a bored game out, maybe make some cookies, or play hide n go seek, make sure everything is safe though. Well hope I helped. Have fun, goodluck!

  3. if you are allowed to you can make them homemade playdough by mixing flour and baking soda and water. check out google for homemade playdough recipies.

play hide and seek inside. be sure to set STRICT boundaries for them. (i did this with the kids i baby sat and they LOVED it)

have them make a collage out of old magazines and have them color and draw

make paper bag puppets or have a puppet show

play music and have a dance contest

    play board games with them.

if it does get nicer out let them go outside and run around for a bit so they can get some fresher air

try and get them to sit through a short movie. pop popcorn and healthy snacks like fruits and pretzels.

good luck and have fun =]

  4. i know what you feel like as i babysat today for quite a while. I dont know how old the kids are so its a little hard to answer but i always let them go on the computer. The little one goes on cbeebies website and plays games while the other one listens to music and stuff. If you dont have a computer just put the tv on gt out a boardgame or something. You could always make something simple with them like cakes from the packet or simple games like hide a seek.Hopes his helps. x

  5. Grab some paper, crayons or water color paint and have at it!

A good game of hide and seek is always an attention grabber...

how about any kids games laying around, playdoh, blocks...or their favorite cartoon?

  6. I suppose it depends how old the kids are. When I used to babysit, I would take some paper and crayons over and get them to draw a picture after I said it (e.g. 'draw me a ladybird') and then we'd vote on the best one and the artist would get a sweet or something. Or we'd play hide-and seek around the house, or I'd teach them how to play card games. One time I took coloured card and glue round and we made paper animals and such. Or we'd play that game where you write the name of a famous person or cartoon character on a post-it note and stick it to the other person's head so they couldn't see it, then they had to ask yes or no questions to find out who they 'are'. Hope this helped a little bit :)

  7. Be creative. If you're feeling brave, try getting them to paint or make things with salt dough/clay. You haven't said how old the children are, but the kids at my nursery love playing with the old cornflour and water combo... just mix it in a big tray and let them get messy! (I think it's called "gloop") It'll keep them amused for hours!! Of course, toddlers will play in angel delight, beans, anything really!!

  8. I don't Know how old the kids are, but mine are 6 and 7, and they love crafts, and cooking, and cleaning!

Maybe you can knock the parent's socks off by mopping the kitcen or something.

If not, look for any art equipment and have a ball with that. Since I see you have access to the internet you could look up recipes and bake something, or even just make play dough or something!

    Have FUN!!!

  9. u have to have a creative mind or nothing will work.

what i do with my brother is i sit him down and give him

some paper and crayons then put on a movie he likes and he'll

be silent 4 about an hour & a half

but u can do something like make a castle of blankets and have some fun in it ....i hope that i helped you n any time of way

  10. well play duck duck goose or something like that or give them a nap, maybe even hide and go seek

  11. How old are they? If they are toddlers let them color. trace there hands and make figures out of them. Play dress up. Are they boys or girls?

  12. Ok what you do is first play something like hide and go seek with them for a little while and maybe they will get a little tired out after that play maybe like a broad game with them and then see if they want to watch a movie... it works with me

  13. click below

if this site doesn't say it:

do craft projects! I babysat these 6 yr old twins once and they wanted to do a craft. it kept them busy the whole time!. but make sure if there is more than one kid that you have multiple things like 2 glues and 2 of each marker color cuz they will fight.

  14. How old are the kids?

  15. It depends on the age of the kids.  Arts and crafts are always a good choice.  Girls love to color and make things, such as oragami.  Boys can fold paper air planes and also color.  You can even make your own playdough.

I am sure the kids have toys they could play with.  You can play simple games like hide and seek, or something like "don't touch the lava".  These are all for kids 8 and younger.  Older kids should be able to entertain themselves or as least give you some ideas of what they want to do.

  16. How old r they? If they are old enough to be read out loud to, read something like the 'Magicians Nephew'... It would be great! Or, if they aren't old enough if you make mac and cheese out of the box, dye it with different colors with food dye. (Very fun)

You could make cookies with them, or, go online and play a game with them, like pbskids.org

There is tons of games that kids of all ages would like. :D

  17. Do you know how to cook? You could have fun making cookies or baking a cake. You can play board games as well.

  18. well, you could see if they have toys or anything. i babysit too, and the boys i babysit have like this little basketball hoop in their house (even if I dont wanna play it, but i want them to like me. lol) see if they have any fun toys.
