Babysitting rates for 2 young kids?

i have a babysitting offer from 8 to 5 p.m.mon-fri for a 2 yr old girl and a 10 month old girl..i am a 36 yr old mom of a 2 yr old son and a 10 yr old daughter...how much should i charge for the week?

I would charge 10-13 Dollars an Hour cause you are a mother and Not a Teen like Me and have Expierience with Kids.

I used to run child care out of my home.  I had two kids 4 and 7 months full time 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and I charged $150.00 a week.  And that was cheap, daycare is running here in KY around $95.00 for a school age child and around $130 for an infant.  Make it worth your wild.  Take some CPR and First Aid classes too, it always help.  I got certified by the state and it wasn't hard or expensive, I just sent in a form.  Good Luck!

I would say its really up to you.  I have a friend who is a nanny and she makes $15 an hour.  So really its up to you. This rate is only about $2.19 an hour and it breaks down to $1.10 per kid per hour.

I would say 10-12 an hour. You have the real life experience to back up that type of pay.
