Hey. I watch three boys over the summer. And I was wondering some fun and creative lunches that we could make. I don't want the regular ham and cheese sandwich. I would like something creative, fun and simply.

Also maybe some snack too. They love to eat and I always try to make the best of what they have. I'll take them out to get slushes, but I was wondering waht snacks we could make here.

It would be great if they could join in too. Like help make the lunches and stuff.

They really like nachos, so maybe an easy and simple nacho recipe?

  1. Well it depends on their ages I guess.  But my 4 yr old loves to make crescent dogs.  He always tells me he wants to roll hotdogs.  (its cute) He also loves to pour stuff in and just stand on a stool and watch. Oh yeah I have also let him use a butter knife to cut hotdogs into little chuncks and then put them in to boil with mac and cheese.  Then finish your mac and cheese the same as if there were no hotdogs in it.   Good luck I hope this little bit helps.  I know how boys are and you sound like a GREAT babysitter!  I wish I had a good one!

  2. You could make mini pizzas and let them choose and design their own toppings.

scrambled egg on toast. They could help whisk the egg, and butter the toast.

Make sandwiches. But let them choose their own fillings and have shape cutters so that they can make their sandwiches into nice shapes.

You could make some cakes with them and let them ice them.

  7. When I babysit my cousins I make them sandwiches with whatever filling they want, then I cut them into different shapes.

One of my cousins likes his sandwiches to be cut into a clown shape.

Nachos are pretty easy to do things with. Just grate some cheese, add some salsa and pop it in the microwave for 20-45 seconds, depending how much cheese you use.
