Hey! Help!

I am babysitting three boys this summer. They are going into 4rth grade, 3rd, grade and 2nd, grade. I don't know what things to do with them.

Access to a park, big backyard, convience store, video games, etc.

But when I do suggest something, they never want to do it unless it includes food. I have already done edible playdough and were thinking about going to take them to get a slush! Please help ASAP! Any ?'s u can email me! Thanks in advance! :-)

  1. let them hang out and think ur really kool and just b urself u should be fine

  2. play ball games with them---basketball is boys' game

  3. They're probably just messing with you about the food thing, so you should try to do something else with them.  For example, play video games or watch a movie.  You could make a "gourmet" dinner or lunch for them, if they still want good food :P

    Remember, you're the boss!

  4. I think you should teach 'em some men hood stuffs. Watch some movies, actions or cartoon as they would prefer. If you love to watch sports game you could have them involved. Like talking to them about the tactics or skills or formation of the game. Treat 'em like men. Maybe they would love to be involved as a men. Eating popcorn while watching is the best way to get them involved. Or you could play some sports game or fun games like treasure hunting by rewarding them nice treats. Or you could get them to be in a home-made competition competing among them. It could be anything that is fun. Or you can take them for a stroll at park. Try to squeeze all of their energy out by day so that they'll go to bed early then you could have a good rest.. GoodLuck though!

  5. Have you asked them what they like to do?

have each of them give you a couple of suggestions of things to do that ALL of them like. Put them on strips of paper in a hat. Add a couple of things that you think of---like going to a playground, riding bikes, etc. Then let one kid draw a slip from the hat and do that first.

Boys this age like to play ball games---baseball, kickball, dodge ball, four squares, etc.

They like matchbox cars and if the kids have some you can make obstacles/ramps out of things you find around the house. Any scrap lumber/wood? anything long you can put on a slope and have races? We have a couple of pieces of PVC pipe that we prop up on things to make a race tunnel for the cars...

Have them race---but make the race silly so the smallest stands a chance.

  6. play a kiddie boardgame and tell them the winner gets some treat.

  7. hi! i used to be in the same situation. try walking to the store with them and getting them each a small candy. buy some cold waters and from the store walk over to the park. just whatever you do try to get them outside! itll tire them out and make the work easier for you! and another thing is if they just want to sit around all day, dont force them to do anything. instead find out what their fav. activtity is and bring it to the house. if they dont want to do it with you. start doing the activity by yourself in a space close to them. it might convince them to join you! hope i helped, and good luck!!!

  8. ask them what they like to do like toys they like to play with or play video games with them but let them win to make them feel good
