  1. I would recommend printing off coloring pages off of the computer, playing dolls with the girl, and a nine year old boy is pretty content with playing with their toys. You can always play with them outside which works with most kids but if they aren't really outdoorsy then play games with them inside. Good luck and hope i helped:):)

  2. Get bubbles and bubble wands.  Sidewalk Chalk. Deck of cards.{Uno, 52 card pack,Skipbo] play cards with them. PlayStation games. picnics, crafts like tye dye and painting.

  3. i have babysat both those ages and my advice is

six year old girl:we played on webkins(not all girls do this but you can find other websites and things like that). we also played with her dolls and colored.

nine year old boy:we played board/card games. also if they have a wii/play station/ game boy those are good things that will entertain them

ask their parents if they can watch a movie, that will keep them entertained for hours

  4. When you arrive there, ask them what they would like to do. spend ten minutes sitting at the table writing a list of what they enjoy doing.

If the kids help write the list they will enjoy doing everything on it.

  5. Play board games

ask what they want to do, if willing

let them do there own thing

  6. i'd deff reccomend doing crafts with them. tie-dying t'shirts is always a big hit with the kids i babysit. another big thing for them is they loveeee to set up tents in the back yard and pretend they're camping. its easy and fun for the kids

  7. Do fun hands on projects with them. Make cool snacks that will not involve a stove. Ask them what they like to do and decide if its right or not and do it. let them play outside.

  8. I would talk with the parents about some of the basic house rules. What they can eat after dinner, if you can take them outside, no jumping on the furniture stuff like that. Also if you don't like something that they are doing and really don't want to call them about something small or silly than just say "no you can not do that while I am here" that keeps you safe. Also listen if the child says where are not allowed to do this or watch that then change the channel so that you have no problems. Also make sure you know their bed time rotuine and if they have music what time you start reading books if any. It is also good to have the parents numbers medical information such as insurance and address just incase. Also whne you see something play all the possiblities of what could happen if something went wrong...such as sliding down the stair rail..if something went wrong they could fall and hurt themselves these are the injuries you want to prevent. I'm sure they will have board games and stuff to do, but if not you have to make something up. Also know what they are allowed to do on the computer such as websites they can go to! If they are allowed on at all!
