Babysitting two boys ages five and ten?

I really need help thinking of things to do to entertain these kids... I babysit just in the evenings, and i don't babysit every day or anything. The older boy kind of overpowers the younger boy. All they want to do is play video games, and I feel like such a slacker babysitter when we do that a lot. Sometimes we play outside, but even then there is not much to do. What can we do INSIDE though. Oh and they do not like board games much; the younger one doesn't understand how to play them or loses interest.

Well that is great that you feel this way!!!!!! BUT they are kids and you are there to make sure that they do not catch anything on fire or hurt them selfs!!! Try asking them if they need help with the home work, But they are kids you can play video games with them, or just let them do what they do best, they will intertain themselfs!!!! the overpowering is normal in older siblings not too much to worry about as long as he is not hurting the smaller one!

I babysit three kids usually 2 boys who are 11 and 8 and a girl who is almost 5.

Somtimes the guys realy love to cook, watch movies, Boardgames are a great hit, ect.

Ask them what THEY want to do. :)
