Babysitting- up to 3 hrs £10, up to 4 hrs £15, 4hrs+ £20. Is this average, would it be ok?

The rate is  too low , what if you get a difficult baby? I would charge

30-60 pounds.

it seems pretty low to me. its below minimum wage for most places. i'd go for about 5 an hour.

Are you a qualified childminder? if you are then you should be charging from as much as £6 per hour, or whatever you feel is neccesary, i mean have you got to supply dipers and food?

If your just out to make a little pocket money then i feel that it is reasonable.

well i pay my sister £15 a day for weekday and £20 for weekend no matter how many hour. if your want some 1 older and qualified for baby sitting the the nmw for 21+ is £5.52 ph so u have to pay that if you want a babysitter like i used to do when i was younger then thats fine. my other sister used to babysit 4 kids who played h**l on a sat night for this couple n they paid her £25 for workin 6pm til 3am shes 19 n this was like a year ago

That sounds a little low to me! You could charge £5.50 and hour!
