The North London club have had a rather miserable month, as the team went on to get knocked out of the FA Cup by Sunderland. Prior to their defeat to the Blackcats, Arsenal went on to suffer a four goals to nil loss at the hands of AC Milan at the San Siro,
which has caused many to believe the team is as good as gone from the European competition as well.
Despite the team falling apart around him, Sagna has gone on to claim that the team still has the belief and mentality to push through and try and capitalize on the situation.
At the moment, the player has admitted that finishing in the fourth spot is as good as it gets for Arsenal, which is why he wants the team to focus on winning their upcoming games.
The Gunners are set to take on their local rivals in the Premier League and Sagna wants the team to get over the defeats that they suffered in the past and focus on the future.
The defender has claimed that the team needs to stop sulking, or they could see their season get considerably worse.
When talking about the Gunners and the position that they find themselves in, the French international is quoted to have said: "We have to keep our heads up, work hard and think about the Premier League because we have a derby next weekend against Tottenham"
"We need to do it for us and for the fans as well. We have to react. We can't play like this against Tottenham otherwise we will lose.”
"We have one week to get ready for the game, to question ourselves, to work and to talk to each other.”
"We are professional and we have to fight until the end.”
"We have to look forwards. We are fourth in the Premier League and we can't let it go like this"
It is now up to the Gunners to prove their worth, as they look to win the North London derby this coming weekend.
