Bacary Sagna’s agent muffles transfer talks: Premier League Transfer gossip
Arsenal’s first choice right-back, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bacary-Sagna-c7148’s agent Christophe Mongai has muffled suggestions linking the French international from a move away from North London.
With the Premier League season heading to its final 3 games, transfer speculation has been all over the papers. Turning our attention to Arsenal, rumours are bound to be sky-high as the Gunners have recorded a sixth straight season without a piece of silverware
in their trophy cabinet.
The last time Arsene Wenger and his men actually won something was way back in 2005 when Arsenal won the FA Cup against Manchester United on penalties. After yet another fruitless outing, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-Maseru-c38430 players find themselves making top news in the ‘transfer speculation’
column.
As far as Bacary Sagna is concerned, he is understood to be on the verge of packing his bags for a one way ticket to Italy. Transfer speculations have linked the Arsenal right-back with a move to either Roma or Juventus in the Italian Serie A. Sagna has
arguably been one of the most consistent players in the Arsenal squad and has understandably attracted such interest.
The player’s agent suggests otherwise. Mongai maintains that Sagna is happy with life in London but also went on to suggest that nothing is impossible in football these days.
Mongai commented, “Bacary is very, very happy in London and I think it is very unlikely he’ll leave Arsenal in the next summer.”
Sagna’s agent further added, “In football nothing is impossible, but, again, it is really very complicated that the player could move. He is very well and has found an ideal dimension in London."
While the first statement might suggest that Sagna looks set to start another Premier League campaign with the Gunners, the latter half of Mongai’s statement might suggest that such a move could materialize in the future. Arsenal have been short of silverware
for quite some time now. However, how long Arsene Wenger can have his ‘French’ influence over the defender remains to be seen.
On the flip side, Arsenal still have Emmanuel Eboue in their ranks who is a more than capable replacement, if such a transfer were to take place.
