*NEED EDUCATED ADVICE ONLY PLEASE*

I am finishing up my Bachelor's finally. I already have my A.A and will be continuing my education starting this fall. As for major in coursework, I am stuck between a couple of choices. I really enjoy History, Sociology, and Social Science. However, I am considering minoring in Human Resource Management to give me a little something different/new path to pursue that can work along my major. I deem that any of the majors I listed would be good for me and my employment because of the knowledge I may retain from the diversity of people and culture. I need a little validation. Do you think I am on the right path? Should I take Business Administration instead of the Human Resources Mgmt.? And which major should I focus on; History, Sociology or Social Sciences? Thank you! Honest answers please.

  1. Your best bet is always to follow your interests. If the business courses interest you, then take them. But if they don't, then skip them and focus on what does. When you find courses you really like, talk to the profs about relevant employment opportunities. If you keep following your interests, you're likely to end up in a job you hadn't even considered, but that you really enjoy. For example, your love of history might take you to high school teaching or to working for a historical society. If you enjoy a sociology course on methodology, your prof might point you toward a job in polling. That's why you should always choose a major by figuring out which courses sound most interesting to you.
