  1. The night before the wedding is NOT a good time to host this event for many reasons. One of which is that typically the rehearsal dinner is hosted on that night. Host at least one week before to give the bride and the the ladies time for recovery. Here are are a bunch of "tame" ideas for a bachelorette party: http://www.topweddingsites.com/bachelor-...

And, make sure that all the ladies have a say in what type of party is planned since they are all responsible for paying their way, except the bride, of course.

  2. Up to two weeks before the wedding day.  Coordinate the schedule with the bride and invited guests to choose the best night.

You should definately NOT be having it the night before the wedding.  The last thing you need on wedding day is exhaustion from lack of sleep, a hangdog look, and a hangover.

  3. Either is fine, whichever is more convenient for your schedules. I personally would like mine to be about a few days to a week prior to my wedding day because I would want to be fully rested for my big day.

  4. I would say 2 weeks before the wedding.

  5. I would suggest the weekend before to avoid hangovers. I took my friend to a Drag Queen Show (www.batonshowlounge.com) for hers.

If funds allow, do something different... like VEGAS! I've also been to a Passion Party for the bachelorette party before. It was fun... and so was the stripper!

  6. When my friend got married we did hers 2 weeks before, only cuz she works every other weekend so it just worked out schedule-wise.

As for me, I work 2 Saturdays, then I have one off which means I have a weekend off every 3 weeks, so mine will have to be either 3 weeks or 6 weeks before.... I'm hoping my girls will plan it for 3 weeks before (and my shower for the 6 week mark) cuz it's just much easier to schedule stuff like that for my weekends off, lol...

You really don't wanna do it the night before cuz #1, you will have your rehearsal and rehearsal dinner that night already, and #2 you don't want to be hung over and/or too tired the next day. I'd do it at least a week before for sure...

  7. I absolutely suggest the week (or a few weeks) before. You do not want to get trashed the night before the wedding - if you don't get enough sleep, you'll be tired, irritable, and you won't look or feel your best. Do the bride a favor and let her get some rest before the big day.

  8. One week before, cause you dont want to be tired or hungover on your big day.I'm doing mine 3 weeks before.Congrats.
