Bachotheque in form for striking a hat-trick through the TSG Nursery
Knocking on the £7,633 prize money of the Class 2 TSG Nursery after posting in a back-to-back is the two-year-old Irish bay colt, Bachotheque. His chances of striking in a hat-trick through the race today are 5 to 1. In order to be dominant, the Tim Easterby
trained will have to over ride eighteen other two-year-old contestants who will try their luck over the six furlong track on Friday, 12th October, 2012 at York.
The bay colt started racing just this season, and has won only through the last two outings of his career. Two successes out of seven career attempts is where the two-year-old stands right now. He has raced at York just once before, and ended fifth in the
race.
Chineur’s colt was part of the line-up for the Sky Sports Median Auction Maiden Stakes on 28th July, 2012 at York race course over six furlongs. The maiden was successfully broken by, Burning Blaze, who has joined the field today too.
Jockey, David Allan, has been the regular companion for the Tally-Ho Stud bred besides the career debut in which he was paired up with, Daniel Tudhope.
His first victory of the career was in the British Stallion Studs Supporting British Racing E B F Maiden Stakes on 29th August, 2012 at Carlisle race course over six furlongs.
Sent as the favourite entry, the colt got into pursuit of the leaders after taking flight from the third stall.
Covering ground got him to the final furlong undisputed, but then he was challenged soon, to which he responded with utter aggression, winning the race by the margin of 2 ¼ lengths.
The Irish bay colt then became a testing candidate for the line-up of the Stena Line Nursery on 21st September, 2012 at Ayr race course over six furlongs.
It proved to be an easy and almost effortless trip for Bachotheque who gained prominence right at the beginning of the race, and staying strong in the final furlong got him the prize money coupled with 1 ¾ lengths lead.
Rio’s Pearl settled as the runner-up of the race.
The 5 to 1 entry will race out of the twelfth stall, and will get paired up with the same jockey.
