Back Bob Back wins the best odds for Freebets.co.uk Novices´ Handicap Chase
Back Bob Back has won the best odds for winning the Freebets.co.uk Novices´ Handicap Chase at Chepstow in England on Monday, April 9, 2012. The triumphant horse will be awarded with a cash prize of £2,404.
The race is scheduled to start at 2:50 GMT and a total of nine runners will be seen in action in it. Their names are as follows: Back Bob Back, The Chazer, Lady Everywhere, Prince Buster, Haar, Overnight Fame, Soir D´estruval, Humbel Ben and Lord Ragnar.
Initially, a total of 11 entries had been confirmed for the race, but Top Benefit and Amirico have been ruled out due to injuries.
Despite their omission, the spectators at Chepstow will be entertained with the 2 miles, 3 furlong and 110 yard race.
The bookies believe that Back Bob Back will manage to win the race comfortably, as he is in decent form right now. He has entered seven chase events, winning a couple of them and finishing runner up on one occasion. In addition to that, he also secured a
third place finish once.
Importantly, Tom George’s trainee has done well in his most recent race, which would have given him immense confidence. He was not the favourite to win that event, but managed to surprise one and all with his speed and stamina. He was able to win the race
comfortably and the punters will be expecting him to deliver a similar sort of show today as well.
The seven-year-old gelding will be partnered by seasoned jockey, Paddy Brennan, who has an impressive strike rate and has won 193 chase races. He will be looking forward to another dominant run at Chepstow today.
On the other hand, The Chazer will also be a strong contender for victory, as he has got a decent record in chase events. He has just entered a couple of them and managed to finish runner up once.
The seven-year-old runner has shown good form over recent times as well, as he secured a fourth place in his previous race. He will be chasing his maiden victory while chasing at Chepstow today.
Richard Lee’s trainee will be ridden by one of the best jockeys in the business, Richard Johnson, who has won 256 chase events.
It will be a struggle for the rest of the runners, as the top two seem to be in great rhythm right now and will not allow anyone else to come closer.
