I have a 2000 toyota celica gts. I had to let it sit for 7 mouths. Why i never went out and drove it around alittle is beyond me. I'm a idiot!! Before i parked it there was nothing wrong with it at all. Now i'm trying to get it back on the road and I can't get the back passenger side wheel to move. AT ALL! All 4 wheels were stuck at one point but rocking the car back and forth freed them.Except the back one.Last week i was able to free it somehow. So i took the wheel and caliber off. Cleaned the caliber pretty good and got the rust off the rotor, inside and out. When i tried turing the rotor it turned pretty smooth untill it hit one spot and i got this crunchy grinding noise and it was hard to turn. cleaned it some more, sanded down every rough spot i could see. A week later it is stuck again. What do you guys think? I know it obviously seems like the rotor but i got that thing to look like new. So thats why i'm not sure. What could it be?

  1. caliper is sticking.. you coul d try and push it back in some and releasing the bleeder might help if it stuck it might break free but if it does it again you have to replace it

  2. It could be that the ebrake cable is seized in place. My 89 F350 ebrake got kinked had to replace the shoes, rotors, and get a new set of cables for it.

  3. maybe your caliper is sticking

  4. Like Mill said,  maybe park brake cable try squirting some wd40 or some other penetrant into the park cables

  5. Sounds like the wheel bearings rusted up.
