Back in the Jurassic period would you say the climate was hotter than it is currently?

  1.  actually in the Jurassic period the average temperature was around 21 degrees C which is much hotter than it is now. surprisingly, though the CO2 levels were higher than they are now, compared to the end of Ordovician (which was around 12 degrees C) the CO2 levels were several thousand parts per million higher than in the Jurassic which shows that despite there being more CO2 in the atmosphere it was much cooler than the Jurassic.
