Monday, November 26th.
Off the correct mark back in tongue-tie, Peter Bowen’s trainee is all set for a cracking performance. She performed superbly last November, when taking two back-to-back triumphs. After securing the first rank easily by five lengths here, the daughter of
Hazaaf continued her splendid work, and bagged another victory. The margin of the second success was not big though.
At the end of November 2011, she had to work really hard to impressive the audience at Uttoxeter. The mare raised many eyebrows by beating the 7-4 favourite, Another Miracle, by a head’s distance in the Digibet.com Handicap Hurdle.
With an aim to perform equally well this season, the V. T. Beynon-owned made her comeback at Ffos Las earlier this month. Under Denis O'Regan, she was always in the rear. A mistake at the seventh fence further worsened the situation, and eventually she ended
up seventh on the table.
The 8-year-old must have learnt a good lesson from her latest loss. With the tongue-tie, she is expected to show great improvement. The experienced runner is up against half a dozen opponents. Over a distance of three miles, the participants will start pursuing
£3,899 at 14:50 GMT.
Fidelor did not jump well on chasing debut. The Henry Daly-trained has plenty to prove, including stamina. Numbercruncher has done well under such conditions in the past. David Evans’ trainee deserves respect on the latest third. The Rockies has not achieved
much over fences so far. Moreover, lack of experience on testing ground will also prevent the punters from supporting him.
Inamalabalusaloon is likely to get a lot of attention. The dual Irish point victor won with authority last time, and looks in great momentum. But a 9lb rise could make things tricky. Still, the N. F. Glynn-trained is one of the main players in today’s event.
