I hurt my back like two years ago (during cheer, another girl fell right on top of me during a mount). Now if i sit without back support, my back hurts (after like 15-20 minutes) and it cracks when I move a lot. Also, when I do back bends and bridges, my back hurts. Do you know what might be wrong, and is there a permanent way to fix it?

Don't tell me I need to go to the doctor. I know that.

Thanks:D

Ps. I am only 16, so will this cause me problems later in life?

  2. That cracking sound you are hearing  could be tight tendons. If not your back is just readjusting itself.I wouldn't be to worried at you age.try stretching and low back exercises.the way you treat your back now will effect your back when you get older.

  3. It could cause later problems, but since it was a blunt injury in the first place that did it, you might be able to get away with instead of going to a spinal specialist, you could go see a chiropractor instead. They would have a list of stretches and  exercises that would most likely help your pain levels. If you don't want to see a chiro, then what my sister does to this day for her back (she broke it in a carwreck when she was 16) is before her soccer games, she has a teammate put this chinese stuff called Kwan Loong Oil all over the lower part of her back and it keeps it loose and she doesn't feel like she's been hit in the back with a baseball bat at the end of the game anymore. Also make sure you are stretching enough, and doing back stretches before you o the back bends and stuff. Good luck.

  4. nah im not going to tell you to go see a Doctor, but i would tell ya to go see a chiropractor

  6. You'll always have the problem unless you get it fixed. I'm not telling you to go to a Doctor, I'm telling you to go to a Chiropractor. X-rays will be taken, ice applied to your back and you will get a micro dine treatment. That comes before you have an adjustment made if needed. There is something out in your back that needs to be put back in place. Best of luck to you young lady.
