I am 29 weeks pregnant and have the worst back pains. Last night it was just my lower back and my husband rubbed it until i fell asleep so I was fine. This morning it is now mid to upper back...what kind of relief do you suggest? I rather not take any Tylenol. Any exercises you can suggest?

  1. I had really bad lower back pain with all my pregnancy's so I know how you feel. I like you perfer not to take any pain medication so I opt for a warm shower or bath (if it's too difficult to stand). Also a hot compress works wonders for me as well. I've tried massagers that vibrate as well but they seemed more distracting to me then the hot compress but since your husband massaging you may have worked you might want to try that one too. Good posture is supposed to help with the back pain as well.

im 30 weeks with that kind of pain and i know how u feel!

i usually try to apply some pressure on the spot on the back that hurts. it helps alot. hang in there!

  3. I feel ya! I am 21 weeks and since about last saturday i have had the most awful back/hip pain! My dr actually said that with my joints relaxing i must have irritated it, one of the most helpful things was aome back exersized, i am sorry i dont know an actual web site but if you google exersizes for pregnant women that should help, and overall take it easy, your muscles are likely tense and it will help to rest them, some heat applies to the area may also help. GOD BLESS!!!
