Back the beard: Don’t shave for England to win the World Cup
Backing the beard has gone down well to help England to win the World Cup. It might not be popular with all the ladies, but as men, we will do anything to see our beloved England lift the greatest prize in world football. Sales for shavers and razor blades may go down, but surely even they can understand we have a good reason to keep the beard. So growing our beards is going down for a good cause to see our England be victorious.
England goalkeeper Rob Green made a costly mistake against USA yesterday, a mistake which denied them of the perfect start to there 2010 FIFA World Cup campaign. Why does it always happen to England’s goalkeepers? Is there anything we can do to help? James Corden suggested in his new TV show ‘World Cup Live’ that fans should show there support by backing the beard, will you keep one for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 to win the World Cup?
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Emile-Heskey-c12468, a goal which brought the crowd at Rustenburg alive, and surely a goal which rocked all audiences over the world supporting the English.
The very same crowd was silenced five minutes before the first-half as Green allowed Clint Dempsey’s weak left footed 25 yard effort to creep straight past him to give USA the equaliser.
I may be a mean critic, but this is the World Cup, it only comes every four years, and to win World Cups a good goalkeeper is crucial, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 have Guinluigi Buffon and the list goes on, when will we have our next Gordon Banks.
Banks was part of the 1966 England squad that brought the World Cup home, and in comparison England also drew there opening game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Uruguay-c3035 back then, so maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel.
As a positive we did come away from the game with a point, and should go on to qualifying through the group stages but my only concern is whether we can go all the way.
Luck is definitely an element which needs to be playing its part this year as we’ve had too much heartbreak already due to misfortune.
So support your country by backing the beard, as long as England is in the world cup no one should shave.
