  1. ya right, Ali would kick bruce lee's ***. I LOVE Ali, and i have posters all over my wall of him.

    First Round, First minute.

    Muhammad Ali vs Sonny Liston

May 25th 1965.     HE is the best.

  2. Cassius Clay is 6'-3" and weighed around 215# in his prime. Bruce was 5'-6" and at his best at 135#. I think both Clay and Lee are vastly over-rated by most people. Bruce Lee never competed in full contact martial arts, so he would not compete against Clay either. Clay did win many boxing bouts, while Lee only won scripted movie bouts. It may be dramatic for a 135# man to beat much larger men in movies, but such things rarely happen in reality.

  3. of course Brue Lee could of knocked Ali out, Ali is a limited fighter, he has only trained for boxing i.e using his hands, Lee was the best well rounded martial artist ever, his kicks were more powerful than any of Listons, Fraziers punches, I know I won't get a best answer for thi because you want to be told Ali would easily knock Lee out, but take a neutral stance for a second & you'll see Lee would win

  4. Lee wins in a landslide if it's MMA, boxing rules are just the opposite.  The Great One would take Lee's head off.

  5. This fight shows that Ali could have taken Bruce Lee's best kicks to his legs, which would have been Lee's only chance against a far bigger, heavier and probably just as fast.

Don't forget the old saying 'A good big'un will always beat a good little'un'.

Ali would have taken Lee's best shots and would have knocked him out very quickly.

  6. i think in there time they were great atheletes but have you guys seen the dvd with bruce lees garden workout at his house come on you people the bag was twice his size he was pummeling it. and his kicks would have took anybody out bruce wins hands down for me ali has punches bruce the legend has everything kicks, punches, holds, throws come on peeps !

  7. This is a perennial question that will not be answered satisfactorily or conclusively unless there was a match. The 2 styles of fighting are different. Ali did what he did under the rules of his game. It was a punch, punch, clinch, punch, etc., kind of fight. Lee's style was you have to down your opponent in 2 or 3 blows. Don't be fooled by the movies. In real kung-fu fights it's over in seconds. Lee may have been smaller, but there is probably no one who could have remained standing after receiving a well-aimed blow to his head by Lee. The same can be said of Ali/Clay's punch. So it's not a question of weight advantage. It's about speed and accuracy. And we will never know who would have landed the first vital punch. It's an open verdict.

  8. He would not knock him out . first he would break him down/ get him off his feet.

  9. I think the question is pointless it can never happen, but they were both great athletes in their own fields
