Back to college weight loss?

i am currently 5,9 and weight almost 9 stone!!!! i feel so bloody disgusting i can barely look at myself somedays

if i fast today (As it restarts your metabolism) and then eat only raw fruit and veg for a week and then only fruit, veg fish and white meat and eggs for the second week

plus doing an hours running a day

will i get back down to my usual 8 to 8.5 stone

i know this isnt entirely healthy but i miss being able to see my bones and i really want to shed this awful fat before college

any help would be greatly appreicated

That is the most ludicrous plan I have ever heard.  Fasting doesn't restart your metabolism but slows it down making it harder to lose weight.  Eating only vegetables is depriving your body of nutrients that your body needs to function properly.  If you watch your carb intake and do plenty of exercise, a mix of cardio and muscular endurance exercises, you may not lose the amount of body fat that you want right off the bat but if you continue with a healthy diet and regular exercise you should start to see results.  However, you have to be consistent.

    p.s. It is unrealistic to think that you will shed a lot of body fat in two weeks.  It isn't possible.

  5. I lost a lot of weight on the Cambridge diet but it took a month. 9 stone isn't fat anyway. I think you have a body image problem more than a weight problem.  

  6. You are at the lighter end of the scale for your height. I am 5'3" & am 9 stone and am still considered slim. As long as you are healthy, thats the main thing. Dont forget that muscle weighs more than fat so i would forget about the scales and judge buy your clothes size. You are absolutely fine.

  8. Your height and weight ratio are perfectly fine. So i honestly don't see you as being fat. But as you want help, i advise you just watch your calorie intake. The foods you mentioned above are correct, but in order for you to maintain weight you ideally need to eat 3 meals a day. I never used to and my weight used to fluctuate alot. For past 2 yrs i've been eating regular meals and my weight has stayed same. So it does work. What you want to do is crash diet, which won't help you in the long run. You need professional advise on healthy eating. See your doctor or local chemist.

    LoL, since you don't want to be lectured, eat less and do more. One or the other.I really think you aren't fat, actually very slim if you go down much, you won't look as attractive just skinnier.

  10. You have left it a tad too late to bring about any miraculous change. Weight loss, toning and fitness are long term goals, requiring long term commitment.

    The problem with your question is that if you look in "search for questions" it comes up 30 times every day. I have had some criticism for repeatedly using the same answer, but since I am happy with my answer, and the questions are the same, I don't see the issue with recycling the same answer.

    at 5'9 and 128 lbs i say ur still pretty healthy. if u do want to lose weight just eat normally and exercise more.

  13. Your weight is fine for a women your age!!

    Keep doing all that running and eat all the good things but to keep a healthy balance maybe once a week or something have a bar of chocolate!! Don't worry!! If your up to using the money you could buy a wii fit it is really helpful!! It let's you do about 30 mins to 40mins then it says have a snack and remember to drink plenty of water!!

    But whatever you do don't completely stop eating cos your nails would fall out and hair(Cancer!!) Also if you did that when you started eating again you would get fatter then before!!

    Kabgirl2 it is possable to get thin in two weeks but it damages your body I read an diary in magazine about a girl who got skinny in two weeks but she got very unwell with ANOREXIC!! ANOREXIC isn't losing weight it starves you to death!!
