Back to school. First Year in Highschool.?

I'm just looking for any advice on things to watch out for being a freshman. What to wear the first day. Do people like it when your outgoing on the first day? and just ANY advice :) i'd really appreciate it!

BE YOURSELF...i know that's the hardest advice to accept from people..cuz how can you be anyone but yourself...easy, don't do things your uncomfortable with, never lie about yourself to make yourself more appealing to other people as Dr Seuss said 'Be who you are, say how you feel, because those who mind, dont matter and those who matter, don't mind.'

FRIENDS...i had a very large group of friends when i was in ms...we mostly drifted apart in hs..but find a few that you're closer to than the rest..these relationships will usually last...don't be afraid to make new friends though...i have two completely different "groups" of friends...a mix of new and old....they're totally opposite..but i act the same with both and its just fine

RESPECT....your upperclassmen...speaking as a recent grad...i hated snotty little freshman...also you were just in 8th grade..the top of your school in middle school...what did you think of the 6th graders? that's basically what seniors think of you

ahh the first day of high school, well first of all DONT be nervouss. its so over rated how people talk, uhmm upperclassmen can easily get annoyed and are very judgemental but dont worrryy! alot of them are nice and will help you find your way aroundd, for the first week DONNNTT wearr a skirtttt. like i said the upperclassmen are very judgemental at times and you dont want to get a name, i know you shouldnt care about what people think of you but for thisss trusttt me you dont want to look like your trying to hard. either shorts and a cute top with your hair straightend or scrunched with sandals would be cute or even jeans and a nice top, dont go too over the topp wait it outt. look cute and innocentt, youll have a blast dont worrry! anddd DONTTT give attitude to anyoneee, respecting people including teachers is a big thing in highschool, you are entering a new world and are soon going to mature into a young adult, have funn gett active in sports or clubs, get good grades and you`ll be fine! good luck :]
