I'm 13 and overweight (I am trying to lose weight through healthy eating and exercise). This runs in my family and I took after my mother, so it's not completely my fault. I was wondering what clothing would be the most flattering for my body type. This is my body http://flickr.com/photos/26921832@N03/2613399285/ What types of shirts, jeans, etc would make me look thinner and stylish? I shop mostly at Target. What other stores could I go to (BESIDES Hollister, Abercrombie, etc)? Thanks!

  1. You can pull off a lot! Try to stray from tanks, though. :)

  2. Don't wear flowing shirts like in the picture, it doesn't help your cause.

Wear straight-semi flare jeans to have the best effect on your legs.

& for tops, try looser style hoodies with tee shirts. :]

Focus on things like jewelry and shoes to make the outfit more successful.

    Good Luck!

  3. Yep dont wear flowing shirts like that

To fix it wear a belt on your waist right under your chest

Wear tops n Tunics like dis one fore example

    http://www.wetseal.com/assets/ws/product...

its tight around the waist then its flows out

You can wear tshirts make sure you wear tops the waist stands out so its brings attention to the thinner part of your body

wear straight legs jeans but not skinny jeans

also wear a little tighter skirts not hooker-ish

Shop at Kohls,JCPenney,Forever21,Wetseal,and Walmart sometimes have nice lookin tops

Or just go to the mall and try out new stores

  4. NOT FLOWING SHIRTS LIKE U HAVE ON IN THAT PICTURE!!!!!

  5. There are a ton of stores where can find outfits to suit your body type, JC Penney, Buckle, Ross, American Eagle, Forever 21, Macys, Rue 21, etc etc.... I would try baby doll style tops, or tops that are fitted through the breast area and then loosen through the waist. Anything that defines a shape, like shirts that have ribbon or a tie through the mid-section. As for jeans, try slim boot cut. Boot cut fits are flattering for all body types, steer away from skinny jeans, because they make bigger people look peach shaped, putting focus on your middle. Old Navy is a great place to check out jeans...

  6. try a top that is a little tighter fitted (but nothing skin tightt) and dark colored bottoms.

  7. your not that over weight just in your stomach.but you can go to wetseal.com,alloy,delias.

  8. Go for tops with empire waists (cinches right below your chest). It'll emphasize the smallest part of your waist and float away to cover any imperfections below.

As for jeans, I'd suggest dark wash bootcut jeans.
