  1. about 500

  2. That's insane.  If she does not need that many clothes..why buy that much more?   I say that's throwing money away considering your current situation.    My daughter need a few pairs of jeans and maybe a hand full of tops.  I'll spend about $100 and that includes new sneakers.

  3. Well the oldest is in high school so of course hers costs more than the others.  She was given $500 to go to the mall and get what she needed to start school and then we went together and got shoes and a few more items so about $800 total.

Like you my 10 year old had a lot that still fit her so we spent about $400 on her then bought her shoes.

My son grows so fast that what we buy today may or may not fit in a week so we bought the bare minimum for him and including shoes it was about $350.

I have found with all the kids that if I buy the mix and match type they can get 3 or 4 outfits out of a few shirts and one pair of pants which makes it cheaper.

  4. For my daughter who's 12, we went to the second hand store and bought like-new jeans from Seven for all Mankind, True Religion, Lucky, and the Gap, plus capris from Hydraulic, the Gap, Lucky and Union Bay for $70 total. I got her three new shirts from JCPenney on clearance for $3.50 each and sneakers from the discount sporting goods store for $30. She still needs some ballet flats but those can wait. She can layer with her tanks she already has and we will get her some sweaters and hoodies later. I also had to get her a shirt for choir for $12 which is the most I spent on any one thing besides shoes.  Oh, I also got her some Soffi sweat-shorts for $8 each at the discount sporting goods store for gym class.

For my son who's five, I bought polos and cargo pants over the summer for about $80 total and some NSS skater sneakers that used to be $40 for $9.99.

For my son who's fifteen I bought him sneakers for $30 and the rest will have to wait as I did not get a paycheck from my now former employer. He is fine with tees and cargo shorts he has and he also has a couple of pair of jeans he can wear for now. Since he is 6'9" I will have to order his 40x38 cargo pants and jeans from JCPenney and get him some XXLT hoodies and henleys and long sleeve tees.

  5. My daughter is 7 and we spent about $200 too.  This is first time I had to actually go back to school clothes shopping with her, as she had a growth spurt since winter/spring and none of her pants fit her.  So I bought a lot of pant outfits and shirts to go with new pants, etc.  I still haven't gotten shoes yet.

  6. Well, we have 2 children in school right now and they have to wear uniforms. For the 2 of them together for clothing, I spent around $300.00 total. We also had to buy all their supplies too like folders, crayons, etc... which was another $100 total.

  7. I have 5 children 3 are school age and I spent 900 on school clothes.  I got most of them from Old Navy.

    Cute Clothes

  8. We spent about $680 on my 14 year old girl. She lost about 95 pounds though, so she needed it because she dropped five sizes! And my 17 year old son buys his own clothes and he's going into college so he just bought a few things that totaled up to $50.
