  1. ARE YOU CRAZY??????????????????????????????? Victoria's secret for a 6th grader? Who is going to this school? Her or you???? No child of mine would EVER, EVER, EVER go to school in Victoria's secret, and make-up!!!!! School is not a fashion show, it is a place to learn. There is no place for that garbage there. And as for walmart being out~ your loss not walmart's; they have some of the most unbelievable cute stuff for kids that is on the market today. You go dress yor baby up to look like a street-walker, leave the real world to the rest of us!!!!

  2. callored shirts: abercrombie

    school bottoms: abercrombie

    school bag: walmart, target, etc.

    shoes: famous footwear

make up: you can buy that anywhere

    jewelery: claires

    bras/ underwear: victorias secret

    ta ta,

    C.R.

  3. >collared shirts- any shirts from abercrombie is fine they have some nice solid colors with a tiny logo in the uper corner which is classy. hollister is basically the same with the collared shirts except insted of a moose logo there is a seagull logo.

    >school bottoms- i dont know if you were looking for jeans or nice dress pants, but either way you can again try abercrombie or even bloomingdales. also i havent been in 6th grade in a while but limited too might have some nice pants.

    >school bag- im a senior in highschool and i know alot of the girls, such as my self, prefer to use a "leesportsac" its a nice bag that is better for carrying books in then a coach or juicy. however if your looking for a little handbag/purse coach or juicy or even kathy vanzeeland is nice.

    >shoes- depending on what style she is into there are plenty of places you can find designer shoes. try taking her to macys or famous footwear for a wide selection of styles and brands.

    >jewlery- if you dont want to be cheap dont go to claires because there stuff falls apart very quickly. alot of clothing stores such as abercrombie, coach, bloomingdales, macys will have a wide selection of nice jewelery.

    >bras/underwear- i really dont know what use a 6th grader would find in victorias secret since most/all of there bras contain underwire and 6th graders really should not be wearing thongs just yet. you can find plenty of boy shorts and training bras at macys, khols, and old navy. it really shouldnt matter what they look like because she is too young for anyone to be seeing them any way if you know what i mean.

    >make up- some light blush/bronzer, a little eye-liner/mascara and a little lip gloss should be fine for everyday wear

    >hair- straightening hair is very popular, as is "scrucnhing it" which is basically hopping out of the shower taking a little gel at a time and scrunching it up in a wavy/curly look. also half up half down, a loose pony tail and loose pig tails are also comming back into style.

i hope this helped, have a good school year =]

  4. OK.... remember, your daughter is 11 years old!!!!  There is no need for her to have things from Hollister, Juicy, Coach, and especially not from Victoria's Secret.  You can find decent collar shirts, skirts and pants at American Eagle and Old Navy where you can also find the proper jewelry and underwear for a 11 year old child.  As far as makeup.... maybe a little mascara and some lip gloss.

and the "World's Best Mama"  wouldn't be raising a child to think that name brands are important in the 6th grade.  You are just going to raise a spoiled little brat!

  5. She doesn't need any make up other than flavoured lip gloss.

    Don't spoil her.

    Wal-Mart, Target, Sears, etc.

  6. I'M going into 6th grade and i have uniforms don't be worried

  7. All I can say is YIKES, all this at 11, she will be a complete monster in no time, and believe her value is based on the brands, I mean really make up and Victoria's Secret at 11, that is just sad!

  8. callored?  What does that mean?  Are you sure you aren't the 11 year old?

11 year olds do not wear make up and they don't wear victoria secret lingerie either.

  10. Right...a mother is thinking juicy or coach for her school bag and  Vics secret underwear. If your going into 6th grader already wears size 5 underwear she must have a big butt or something because I could not wear that until 8th grade.

Since you care about your daughter and want her to have good quality stuff what about Lands End and LLBean? Their polos will last longer than Abercrombie and Hollister and the only difference is they don`t have the little thingie on the chest.

    http://www.landsend.com/ix/school-unifor...

They have feminine fit polos for $19.50 and have had a LONG reputation for quality.

If by school bottoms you mean khakis etc. Lands End school uniforms is also the highest quality.

School bag: what about a super cute messenger bag like this:

    http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...

You can customize it in any color combo. Much more unique and cool than some random designer bag and longer lasting too.

Shoes -- you can get cute ballet flats from almost anywhere even Target and if you get several pair you will get through the year.

Makeup -- for my daughter going into 7th grade and wearing makeup for the first time I got her some mascara -- neutral eye shadows -- and tinted lip balm in pink raspberry and champagne. My daughter has light brown hair and fair skin and really blue eyes.

    http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/2930326?cm_c...

jewelry -- Claires should be fine. Not sure what your ``daughter`` has in mind for style or what is acceptable at her school.

Bras/underwear -- my daughter wears spaghetti strap sports bras or camisoles with a shelf bra at this point because she does not want to go in for a bra fitting. I am okay with this until she actually gets bouncy and needs more support. She wears a 32 A or getting to be small B and the bras she wears are very smooth and supportive under her polos and tees etc.

Hair -- also hard to say since we know nothing about her hair. My daughter recently got her hair cut in a sleek Victoria Beckham bob and she loves it. The shorter cut really makes her eyes pop.

  11. i dont believe your tha mom....psshh

  12. I think that your not on your daughters account. I think that you are the girl going into 6th grade pretending to be your mom and asking people about yourlself adn your clothes for 6th grade. So HA!!!!!

  13. Thoose are great !

    I love that.

I might even try that for my cousin !!

    LOL.

Good Luck on first day of sixth grade for your daughter, my cousin is also going into 6th grade.

  14. clothes are clothes, and buying expensive ones does not make someone a good mother. id rather my mom spend money on something less superficial, personally. why are you so concerned on how in-fashion your daughter's clothes are?! if you ARE a mom, you must have had your daughter at 4 years old. try focusing on things that actually MATTER.  this ridiculousness is  SO s****. and shallow even for an 11 year old

  15. collar not callor.

    wow.

    okay,

this is thw weirdest question ever. and i usually dont answer without giving an answer, but i cant pass this up.

    abercrombie? hollister? juicy? VICTORIAS SECRET?

    wwoowwww.

firstly, i do not believe that you are the "mom". i believe that you are the daughter, and a fairly spoiled one at that.

eleven year olds dont need brands, or victoria secret, or makeup.

    wowowowowowow.

    wow.

    society is really going downhill...

  16. if you think your child really needs all the name brands go to the mall..

if you think your child does not need name brands to hide behind or to feel worthy then every thing on your list can be found at kmart or walmart.

  17. i would say for shirts maybe walmart or kohls

    for shcool botomms kohls

    shcool bag jcpenny

    shoes at kids foot locker

make up maybe mascara and some light blush and eyeliner

    jewlery claires

    bras and underwear practcally anywhere

and her hair could be just up in a pony tail or down or in a bun

  18. body shop is pretty kool, and areo...

  19. mmmmmk im sorry but this is bugging me!

jewelery? make up? u just said your daughter is 11!!!

i'm thirteen and i go to a school where makeup and jewelry is prohibited!

and why go to victoria's secret for ur ELEVEN year old daughter when she can barely wear bras in the 1st place??!

this is the most bizzare question to ask and i cant believe u shop at those places for your daughter!

  20. wow its obvious ur not the mom...what kind of mom would suggest victorias secret, ambercrombie/hollister, and jewelery and make-up for an 11 year old ??

  21. >callored shirts: Abercrombie and Hollister are nice, but they are expensive, if you're not worried about price than those are great choices however, American Eagle has the same style clothes and they are cheaper, TJ maxx also has designer brand clothing for MUCH cheeper prices.

    >school bottoms: Jeans, macy's has nice jeans that are good quality and so does American Eagle.

    >school bag: again, Juicy and Coach ARE pricey but they are nice. But if it's just a SCHOOL bag I would go for a tote from American Eagle, Abercrombie, or Hollie.

    >shoes: Payless has REAALLY cute, cheap shoes. That's where I always shop. Flats are a must.

    >make-up: buy max make up. they have it at macy's.

    >jewelery- claires.

    >bras/underwear- since shes only 11 victorias secret is an okay option for undies, but bra's shes prolly better off with ones from wallmart to be perfectly honest. I didn't start wearing Victoria's until 7th/8th grade.

  22. just were somethin cute and comforteble

  23. Yes my daughter too is going to 6th grade and I found the most fashionable things that she loves

Her callored shirts came from Aeropostle

I got her a tote from abercrombie

Her pant from american eagle and bermudas from old navy

Her shoes were  from journeys I got her some aadias and boat shoes

Yes and I got her jewerly form claries and some from icing(made by claires)

Her make up was from walmart

And her underwear was from 579

  24. WELL EVERYTHING YOU SUGGESTED SOUNDS GOOD.

    but for bottoms aeropostle

    shoes shoe carnival

    make up TO YOUNG!!! HELLO!?!?

and i agree with the woman right above me your not really her mom

  25. ur gonna spoil ur girl if u are the mom that asked this question...

    she's only 11

the way u are treating her, she's gonna be sum richstuck up snob and no one will like her

I know this I cuz I just got out of middle school

    dont go to wal-mart

but not to coach or juicy either

go to payless for shoes cuz they wear out quick

go to hollister or abercrombie for school bags they are cute but dont shop for clothes there ALL the time they have the same boring style. try others like aeropostale, forever 21 and American eagle

    for jewelery go to claires

makeup? she's too young and is gonna ruin her face but still dont buy cheap makeup.

bras n underwear...dont trust Victorias secret..they're not that good go to American eagle and target and wal-mart

    good luck!

  26. >collared shirts: (try POLO brand @ norstroms they have lots of colors)

    >school bottems: ( victoriassecret has supper cute bottems/abercrombie and hollister, also try american eegle outfitters)

    >school bag: ( coach, louie vaton, prada)

    >make up: ( mac,VS)

    >jewlery: ( juicy, coach, claires, norstoms)

    >bras/underwear: ( victoriassecret totaly CUTE!! my fav!)

    >hair tips: ( it depends on what kind of hair she has! but.. she could do stright hair wih a cute barret, stright hair in a pony tail, get a celeberty hair cut, or curly low pony tail!)

    >make up tips: i like macs chrome yelloe and coral!)  hope i helped have FUN!!!

  27. My suggestion for all is Wal*Mart or similar stores. A 6th grader certainly does NOT need knickers from Victoria Secret. The money for the expensive stores and brands you mentioned would be better spent in a good education for your daughter and yourself.

    Shirts have "collars" not "callors"

    chav !!

  28. ehh just go to target..who cares..

  29. It sounds like you have a dress code (uniforms) At your school... there are limited places that you need to purchase your uniforms, like the collared shirts.

Why Victoria's secrets? Your only in 6th grade. Who are you going to show your bras/underwear in school?

I am assuming your not the mom asking these questions about a 6th grader.
