Question:

Back to school hair for my daughters and niece?

My two 5 year old twins daughters have wavy, light brown hair that comes just below the shoulders. Do you have any suggestions for hairstyles? I also have a 13 year old niece with the same type of hair, any suggestions for that?

  1. my little sister's hair is just like that so what you do do is get a comb and part it in the middle, and in back of your hair comb it that part should not be parted it is really cute try it on the five year olds

  2. bob haircuts  are still extremely  popular  for  young girls  at school .There  neat  look smart    easy  to style   if blunt cut   and a fringe.  Hope this helps

  3. My sister had similar hair to what you described, and when she was your daughters' age she had some really cute hairstyles for school.

You could plait it once down their back, leaving bangs at the front. That would look really lovely especially with their wavy hair. You could also do the same, but with two plaits down their back. That would look really nice, because it's a classic style with a bit of a twist.

Or you could give them two plaits, hanging down over their ears

You could braid sections of their hair. You can braid bits into thin plaits, and use as small band at the bottom to hold it. If you don't have any, you can use a small amount of kitchen foil so that the plaits stay wound.

Then when it's plaited, you could leave their hair down, or pull it up into a high ponytail. This style is nice, becuase you can do the braids the night before and they should stay in for the morning. (:

Also using plaits, you could take afairly thick piece of hair from either side of the face (the very front bits - make sure they're equal) and plait them both, leaving a couple of inches of unplaited hair at the bottom. Then pull both bits of hair back, and tie them together behind her head. I used to wear my hair like that. You could do the same thing just without plaiting it.

If you want to jazz up one of those styles or a plainer one, buy some colourful hair clips or a nice alice band. You can buy some really funky bobbles as well. I recommend Boots, Wilkinsons or Pricewise because they have some nice ones for good prices, so it doesn't matter if you loose any (which is bound to happen, really).

As for your niece, I'm 15 so I'll just have a go at recommending the way me and my friends wear our hair.

A popular style is a medium-high ponytail. It's quite baisic, but looks really nice especially if you leave out bangs or a fringe. It looks nice with coloured hair grips or clips put on the side of the head, or around the bobble.

It would look nice wavy, but she could also use straighteners if she wanted it poker-straight.

Loads of people now wear it down and straight, accessorising with a clip or alice band.

A loose plait would look cute as well.

If she wanted a totally new hair style, layers look really good and are quite fashionable at the moment. It will make a big difference to her hair - I love having mine. Also a side or full fringe might be nice, it would liven up her hair if she wanted a change. Tell her to take a look through some magazines - you can buy hair style magazines from most news agents and they're not too expensive. They usually have them in hair salons as well. It might give her an idea of a new style she might like to try, and she might not even have to go to a salon to get some of them.

    I hope I helped! xx

  4. For your daughters-Flat iron it  *or put lots of real cute pony tails

For your niece-Braids or Flat iron it with some banana curls

  5. Maybe a neck length bob for your twins , even though its wavy it be cute i think.

As for your niece , how about a long layered cut with feathered bangs no.

  6. I say for the older girl, how about the style my avatar pic is, or in pigtails with a quiff.

Or put it back with an elastic headband and straighten the rest, or curl it, or put it in pigtails and then curl the pigtails. Or straighten it, and then curl it every so often along.

    Hope this helped! x
