  1. Your teachers will tell you what supplies to keep in your locker.

I was home schooled 3rd-6th grade and then had to go straight into public 7th. It was horrible. (I am now in 11th grade). All the homework was hard to get use to, the academic expectancies were more than I expected, it took months for me to be able to open my locker, I was bullied, and the only way I could make friends was to find people even lonelier than myself. But I made it. I adjusted to the homework, soon got to the top of every class, never put anything valuable in my locker, learned how to fight back, and formed friendships I still have.

I advise that you make finding a friend a priority. Sit with someone at lunch. Swing with someone at recess. Ask someone to help you study. Ask someone to go to the movies with you. If no one invites you into their group, invite them instead. If no one accepts you, seek out other kids who are alone. Actually, you might try that whether plan A works or not.

Ignore cliques, pay attention in class, ask questions, and don't be afraid to ask someone to open your locker for you.

You will adjust to the homework level and any academic difficulties in time. Don't stress out about it.

I made my experience sound terrible, but it wasn't all bad. I learned a lot because I had to. I made a lot of mistakes, but now I know so much more about how to deal with all kinds of situations. I hope your school is not like mine was, and that it is easier for you to make friends. Good luck. And if it doesn't go well, just know that high school is so much better.

  2. well ur luckyy cause ur in the highest grade i am in 7th

    be ur selff

    dont be a poserr.

cause people in middle school are very hostlee

what school do u go to ?

i will tell u if its goood

  3. wow i know how you feel. sorta. i was home schooled in 1,2,3 grade and at the end of 5,6,7 I'm going into 9th grade this year. well there many things you should know but most of the things you got to learn from experience. watch out for mean girls, they'll kill you just like they did me.

if someone asks you a weird question like "why do you always ____," or something like that just ask a wired question back and they'll back off. FYI: most of the time girls are complete drama queens, and will turn on you within a moment guys are the best kind of friends to have. they care and are always your friends. its easy to make friends you start with a "Hi"

and work from there. when making friends always focus the topics on them and try to get them talking. don't talk about yourself too much cause no one really likes people who are all about themselves. try your best not to get lost. if you have to ask then ask and its a great excuse to talk to someone and from there you can make a friend. 8th grade jr. high isn't really that hard if you got friends. teacher can be really mean or really nice or just ok. i can't help you on that one so hopefully you get good ones. i hope I've helped i know what its like to be home schooled and then thrown in school. oh and your locker, go to i think its Shopko and get a shelf for your locker they come in handy.

hope i helped email me if you got any more questions about it.

  4. Well if you haven't gone to any orientations for the school, then I would suggest getting ahold of a map of your school. I say the best way to meet people it just to be yourself, tell the truth, and always keep promises. Be nice to people, too and don't talk behind their back because they will always find out. If you got a supply list, make sure you got everything on the list. For your locker, make sure you know how to unlock a combination lock. You don't really need too much for your locker. I have a mirror in mine, but that's basically it. You can put magnets and stuff in.

    Hope this helped.
