Back to work rules for single parents- will women in jobless couples have to work too?

I mean the women in lazy couples who have about 5 or so kids and now have a new partner- and neither of them have done a days work in their lives and have no intention of working

couples who sit around smoking , drinking , watching tv and dont care about the kids , who stay on benefit usually have a partner claiming disability when nothing wrong with him etc- you know the type of couples i mean

i know a few of em

will these women be targeted too and also made to work when youngest turns 7 - or will they be allowed to stay on benefits while their lazy boyfriend pretends to look for wrk and the government keep making up stupid rules for us hardworking single parents who actually want to work?

  1. NOT all people on benefits are scroungers and lazy! i work with a fat git who has been in prison,he smokes weed and doesnt do a thing with his kids, yet i live next door to a couple the wife is on benefits as she has severe arthritis and the husband is the carer, both a determined and great couple, they have 2 children 4 and 2 and she got arthritis after second child, both children are pleasant and well mannered! Dont label every benefit claimant as scum, i thought like you until i met this couple. There are however people who lie and claim benefit etc as they are lazy etc, but dont forget, there could be paedo's rapists etc who work and are h**l of alot worse than benefit claimants!!

I think you are the claimant of benefits but frightened to say because of the label people give you.

  2. There are some families like the ones you mention, but they are the minority.  It does get frustrating when you see people like that.  We have just spent a year on avery low income, after my husband had a major accident at work and was unable to return to work for a year.  We were not entitled to anything as I worked part time.  When you see families around you that claim falsely dont blame the claimaint, blame the system that allows them to get away with it!

  3. Well i'm sure something has ticked you off...

but to help with your answer yes she will have to get work and be put on newstart allowance or something like that.unless they have more kids.I do understand were you are coming from as i live near an area with people just like that.I also have an ex husband who i guess is doing what you have written and it sucks because his son misses out on child support. At the end of the day don't let these people bother you,it only wastes your time and brain power as they dont give a ****.

    Hope this helps

  4. I trust that you can substantiate the allegations that you are making.
